Ulverston is a friendly and charming historic market town set in the Southern Lake District area. It's interesting specialist shops, cafes and bars can be explored along cobbled streets and ginnels. It lies in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is superb for  walking, or cycling. Also,it is on the doorstep for exploring southern lakelands, mountains, villages and lakes such as Coniston and Windermere.

Additionally, many attractions of interest are within half an hours drive, from a visit to South Lakes Animal Park or a Cruise on Lake Windermere to Ruskin's House Brantwood overlooking the shores of Coniston Water.
